The Angry Weather ϟ

Ivah Morales makes this cloudy day sunnier with her beautiful handmade jewels inspired by the weather. These cuties which include rain clouds, lightning bolts, meteors and other trinkets, can be purchased from Etsy. Would so love to have one of her pieces to add to my jewelry collection!

Yvette Inufio

Today's inspiration comes from Yvette Inufio. Found her work while browsing Etsy and instantly fell in love with the soft and romantic look of her photos and the objects that she captures. See more of her work on her blog, Etsy or Flickr

Varsity days

A friend of mine, Alisha suggested that I put these up :) Did this back in the day, (well it seems like an eternity ago!) when I was in varsity. These postcards were part of an illustration assignment - the aim was to draw prospective students to our university. It's amazing how much I miss college, now that I think about it - lazing in the sun and doodling...life was so simple back then ♥

Friday inspiration

Happy Friday everyone! If you haven't checked out we heart it, where have you been!? It's the perfect place to find inspiration of any kind and I visit this site daily. Hope these pics put a smile on your face.

Dolly decadence

Welcome to the dream world of art and ghosts. These ethereal prints are done by Louise Robinson, an artist with a love for dolls. She uses photoshop and wacom to hand colour each image until it looks porcelain perfect. Cute…in a creepy kind of way.

The art of fashion

Kelly Smith (the lady behind this stunning work) uses contemporary supermodels and redresses them in designer collections. Her work has appeared in publications such as Vogue and Cleo. Visit her blog Birdy & Me for a new perspective of fashion illustration, I'd highly recommend doing so.

Antonella Arismendi ♥

Discovered an amazing photographer: Antonella Arismendi. I advise you set aside some time to browse her work. Wow. More about her on her website

Of the forest

Elle Denmark - the shoot makes use of Spring pieces from the likes of Stella McCartney and Dolce and Gabbana. In love with this hazey/dreamy look.

Amazing Aking

The beach and good music - you cant go wrong! Had THE best weekend rocking out to my favorite South African band Aking :) The concert was on the beach, just down the road from where I stay. I captured these memories using instagram.
