chocolate and peanut butter…oh my.
Ok, so I did a little experimenting on Sunday morning and came up with this great recipe. Really happy with how these turned out - crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. Seriously though, I should have known it would be a win-win situation - you just can't go wrong with chocolate and peanut butter! Enjoy xxx
200 g margarine, softened
150 ml sugar
500 ml cake flour
5 ml baking powder
2 heaped spoons peanut butter
Step 1 Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Step 2 Cream the margarine and sugar
Step 3 Add to this 2 heaped spoons of peanut butter and mix well
Step 4 Combine the dry ingredients and add to the cream mixture
Step 5 Drop teaspoonsfuls of mixture onto a greased baking tray
Step 6 Bake for 10 –15 minutes (do not overcook, should be soft in the middle)
Step 7 Turn out onto wire racks to cool or eat while it's still warm like i did :)
